Be quick to listen
There are two types of listening, you can listen just to listen, or you listen with a heart. When you listen with a heart as well as listening with an open ear it gives you an opportunity to hear God speaking to you telling you how to handle each situation. He will provides you a way out. 1 Corinthians 10-13 No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it

In 1 Samuel 3:9 9 So Eli told Samuel, "Go and lie down. If someone calls out to you again, say, 'Speak, Lord. I'm listening.' " So Samuel went and lay down in his place.
To avoid any confusion pray, ask God to speak to you He will direct your path and provide you a way out. Make sure you listen and be a doer of God’s word.

First we have to be still and listen.

I did a show last week on sex, homosexuality, and Barak Obama (see at www.earlhall.net). The show got me a lot of emails and phone calls. No not about Barak Obama, but the other two issues. I got a phone call from a man that said that he wanted to send me an email with some information. I got the email and I said to myself, “here we go”! Now I realize that anytime you do a controversial talk show, you will get a wide variety of responses. This one, however, really just took the cake.
